Erick Opiyo Abala
An alumnus of Mwai Abiero Ogen Secondary from 2009 to 2012, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (Public Relations and Advertising) from the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) and has currently enrolled for a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Communications at the University of Nairobi (UoN). Erick currently is a Public Relations and Corporate Communications Officer at the Kisumu Water and Sanitation Company (KIWASCO). He is also a correspondent at some of the mainstream newspapers in Kenya, a news writer, editor and radio presenter.
Winnie Akoth Omolo
An alumnus of Koru Girls from 2012 to 2015, Winnie is currently in her final year at Moi University pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree in Arts – Christian Religious Education (CRE) and Kiswahili, graduating in December 2021. She is a peer counselor & motivator as well as a radio presenter & video editor. During her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and composing songs.
